The Outride Rally

The Outride Rally is raising awareness about the positive benefits of cycling on brain health & wellbeing.

Ultracyclist, Jack Thompson, and Outride Champion, John Glodek are riding through California from Sea Otter Classic in Monterey up to Levi’s GranFondo in Windsor. They will be visiting Outride Riding for Focus schools, raising money for the mission, and increasing the stoke around the work we do and the power of the bicycle.

ATHLETE BIOS

Jack Thompson

A professional ultra-cyclist born in Perth Western Australia, Jack relocated to Girona, Spain in 2019. Referred to in the media as ‘The Most Extreme Cyclist on Earth,’ Jack pushes the boundary of what is humanly possible on a bike, exploring the limits of human physiology both physically and mentally. Jack holds multiple Guinness World Records and Fastest Known Times (FKT’s) around the globe and is an active and passionate advocate for Mental Health Disorders.

John Glodek

John teaches physical + health education at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School in Maryland and has a deep-rooted passion for cycling. It has been a catalyst throughout his life and drove him to advocate for his middle school to get Outride’s Riding for Focus school-based program in 2018, which opens the paths for new adventures for student’s right in their own community. Over the last 7 years John has worked with Outride training camp; supporting new Champions across the country! As well as building one of the most successful Riding for Focus programs in the country.
